This is the sixth consecutive year we have received the honor.
Hello everyone,
I am proud to share that our company once again has been recognized by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies. This is the sixth consecutive year we have received the honor and we are one of only three honorees in the semiconductor industry. According to Ethisphere CEO Timothy Erblich, honorees continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest values and positively impact the communities they serve, even in the challenging year of 2020.
As you know, we are dedicated to maintaining high ethical business standards with all our stakeholders. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for living our company’s core values of respect, integrity and initiative every day during an extremely difficult year. Your actions reflect the individual and collective effort to create an ethical work environment for all of us and for our business partners. Your efforts also show how we remain deeply dedicated to positively impacting the communities in which we operate.
In related news, we have also been named as one of Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies for the past four years, moving up to the No. 10 spot most recently, and with that, the top-ranking semiconductor company on the list. In 2020, we also received the highest level recognition from EcoVadis, a leading platform for environmental, social and ethics performance ratings for global supply chains, placing us in the top 1% of companies assessed. Last but not least, we were awarded Most Sustainable Company in 2020 in the semiconductor industry by World Finance.
The foundation of our company continues to be rooted in environmentally sustainable operations, ethical business practices and a culture of inclusion. Thank you for doing your part.
Jean Chong, Vice President, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility
