Global Supply Manager

Drive supply readiness and drive customer program demand management for key customers supported by onsemi. The Global Supply Manager /GSM/ will work closely with the customer’s buying locations worldwide to understand key programs, program launch dates, bill of materials and manufacturing locations. The Global Supply Manager communicates with the Business Units, Business Unit Planning Managers, and Capacity Planning on upcoming demand intelligence for their assigned customers.

Working time: Flexible working hours (core time 9,30-15,00)

Salary: From 1 650 EUR, depends on candidate´s experience.

Job description:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for customer forecasts on key programs/devices globally
  • The GSM crosses many functions in the organization adding intelligence beyond the data and normal discrete processes
  • Bring together the right people at the right time to make the best strategic supply decisions to support the long-term growth of the account within onsemi
  • Obtains new model names, manufacturing location(s), and forecasts, including production start dates and ramp schedules to ensure channel and factory readiness and execution for key programs/devices
  • Coordinates between channels to roll up total demand picture and help to communicate the needs of the customer to ensure that backlog for key programs/devices is placed accordingly
  • Ensures the BOM kit is correctly forecasted
  • Works with external customer contacts to help resolve strategic supply readiness gaps
  • Works with Global Account Manager to strengthen the linked account team
  • Works with PODs/CSRs in different regions to create one customer team if applicable
  • Enters forecasts into the onsemi systems of record
  • Obtains market intelligence if applicable
  • Capacity analysis for customer contracts if applicable
  • Supports Customer Service group with specific requirements for assigned customer

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management
  • Ability to prioritize and have a sense of urgency
  • Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, able to balance short and long term goals
  • Ability to exhibit patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude when addressing issues and problems from internal and external customers
  • Intermediate data analysis skills
  • Self-motivation, organization, and work independently
  • Fluent English language
